Can’t Live Without Hair Tools!
I was thinking about everything beauty related I couldn’t live without and then it hit me. When I travel, I cannot travel without my hair tools…even the big bulky ones like my big huge hair drier. Only two posts before I talked about the products I couldn’t live without (click here to check that out), now lets talk about the tools I use on my hair after I put that stuff in it!

- Black Diamond - Rattail Comb $3.50
Looking up the rattail comb I use when I straighten my hair I noticed how poor the reviews are for this comb. I’ll say this, my first rat tail comb melted at the sight of heat. I never noticed snagging or anything that the reviewers talked about. Bottom line, I cannot live without a rattail comb that doesn’t melt with my straightener.
- Sultra - The Sophisticate Power Dryer $245
Okay, almost $300 for blow dryer is crazy. I know, I know. In my defense…I love it. The way I got ahold of this is because I had a T3 Glow for less than a year ended up having a lose piece inside that went crazy in the middle of me doing my hair and that was the end of that blow dryer. Well, I went to Sephora, got the Featherweight…I went home and read reviews…and got scared that the same thing well happen. I went back to Sephora and picked up the Sultra Sophisticate because they didn’t have the one that was less in price and never looked back because it’s the best thing ever to happen to my hair and it dries it super fast (which I find so important). Does it cut down on frizz? No not really, but I honestly didn’t expect it to. Best blow dryer ever.
- Goody - Simple Styles Spin Pin $6.30
Whenever I put my hair in a quick bun, I usually put one of these in. I love these and whoever invented these were a genius. Super easy to put in your hair and it keeps your hair in a tight or messy bun.
- ghd - Classic 1 Inch Syler $18
I don’t own this same exact straightener because they don’t sell the one I have anymore. I own the limited edition breast cancer one. It’s light pink all over and it came in a whole set with a tote, clips and also a bag for your straightener but it’s still the same iron in the sense it’s the classic, just a different color. Before ghd my mom bought my first expensive flat iron which was a FHI and that was 7 years ago. Not even a year ago I replaced that FHI with my ghd and I love it. Not that I didn’t like my FHI it was great but it was really old.
- Spornette - Porcupine Rounding Brush XL $16
As far as what I use to get my hair smooth when I blow dry, this is what I use. I love this. It grabs my hair perfectly and smooths it out like a dream. It’s nylon and boar bristles to also give your hair great shine. Nothing else I can say about this brush besides that it’s a great brush.
Well that’s it! I’ll still be putting up more Can’t Live Without posts, so look out for those!
